He founded Art Illusions & Designs, forging a successful career offering these services in the high-end Coastal Florida real estate market, as well as with made-to-order art installations and commercial signs.
After decades spent atop ladders in vast homes, Mr. Lopez was drawn to the opposite: Tiny homes. Applying traditional carpentry, painting and fabrication techniques to tiny spaces has proven a fulfilling way to merge every combination of the team's specialized skills.

Forest River Vibe Travel Trailer Remodel for Full-Time Family of 4.
With this family’s move from a 3,200 square-foot "bricks and sticks" house into a 340 square-foot tiny home, this South Florida travel trailer renovation had to offer optimal function with durable finishes & multipurpose uses of every nook & cranny.
Krystle, an occupational therapist, and Erick collaborated on design options that would provide interchangeable sleep quarters/school desks/virtual therapy space for the kids, work areas for both parents, and a comfortable place for the family to gather and share meals. Additionally, one of the children is on the autism spectrum, so safety and security were also top priorities.
On a tight deadline of just a couple weeks, Erick & Krystle pulled together all these functional must-haves with custom carpentry and a refinished interior with a fresh coat of white paint for a cleaner, more spacious feel.
